About Us

Heart to Heart Connections – E is a compassionate, client-centred wellbeing service founded by Donna Rankin. Inspired by a genuine love of people and the transformative power of creative expression, Donna brings guided art sessions directly to aged care facilities and community groups across the Great Lakes region of NSW.
Our sessions are more than just painting — they are moments of joy, confidence, and human connection. We believe every person, regardless of age or ability, deserves the chance to create, to be seen, and to set their spirit free.
Donna's warm, encouraging approach has been recognised by the local community and featured in the Great Lakes Advocate. Whether you're a resident, a carer, or a facility manager, we'd love to bring Heart to Heart to your community.
“The most wonderful places to be in the world are: in someone's thoughts, in someone's prayers, and in someone's heart.”

Our Philosophy

No matter what yesterday was like, birds always start the new day with a song.
A reminder that each session is a fresh start — full of possibility and joy.
We forget that waking up each day is the first thing we should be grateful for.
Gratitude and mindfulness are woven into every Heart to Heart session.
Our sessions gently encourage participants to return to what they can control — their thoughts, their creativity, their boundaries, and the joy they give their energy to. Art is a powerful vehicle for this kind of mindful awareness.
Through painting, music, and conversation, we help seniors reconnect with their inner world in a safe, supported, and joyful environment.
